Country school teachers are alumni

In the mid-1920’s the Cherokee County High School (CCHS) was considered a progressive school for the time.

It was totally unlike an ordinary country school, but also unlike a city school. It consisted of five buildings plus a stadium, located just a few blocks from the downtown square of Columbus.
