Fair Board members hosted a luncheon for volunteers and others who helped get the 2023 edition of the fair underway. Officers include Fair Secretary Brad Wells, Board member Terry North and Board President Anne Sharp.
The heat and change of time apparently had a negative effect on the sales at the annual 4-H dessert auction held Wednesday night at the County Fair.
Wednesday night the tables were filled with an array of baked goods to be sold to ready buyers. Following the record year in 2022 the sales were $3,690 at the 2023 auction for 44 items.
