The City of Weir is currently under a boil order for drinking water caused by a break in a distribution line.
The leak has been repaired and the tower in filling and the test has been forwarded to the laboratory for testing.
Once a boil order has been issued it can only be rescinded by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
The city expects the order to be lifted this week.
