This may appear to be a class building project, but in fact the students in Nick Weber’s seventh grade class at Columbus Junior High School are learning about math, history and construction. They are building out of newspapers, replicas of the World Trade Center tower destroyed September 11, 2011. The students had to convert the building dimensions into centimeters and build a structure that would stand. Working on the project are Salece Marris, Jex Cheney and Mollie Sauerwein.
