An investigation into child solicitation charges began when the Cherokee County Sheriff’s office was notified by another law enforcement agency April 15 that a child in their jurisdiction was being solicited by an adult male from Cherokee County.
During the investigation detectives identified the suspect and a search warrant was executed at 723 E. 7th Street in Galena.
