Leona Agnes Lindsey, 100 of Oswego, died at 7:54 a.m., Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Life Care Center, in Wichita, Born December 13, 1920 at Mildred, Leona was the daughter of Henry H Moss Sr. and Georgie Lucille (McBride) Moss. She was a lifetime resident of Oswego.
Leona was a longstanding member of Mason Chapel UMC Agape Parish in Oswego. She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, sewing and painting. She especially enjoyed helping her family and friends.
Leona is survived by her daughter, Sharon Robinson, of Wichita and her brother, Henry Moss Jr., of Oswego. A grandson, four great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Her grandchildren affectionately called her “Nan”.
Leona was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Coleen Lindsey.
Graveside services were held, Saturday, June 19, at Tibbits Cemetery, in Oswego. Pastor Bob Conway will officiate.
