At the end of their first budget session with the county auditor, Cherokee County commissioners are projecting a 14 mil decrease in property taxes for 2022.
The commissioners received word from their health insurance administrator that they could expect a decrease of approximately $1.16-million in health care costs. This would project to a six mil decrease.
