Charles Franklin “Jonesy” Jones, 82, of Pittsburg, died Friday, September 3, 2021. He was born April 19, 1939 in Columbus, to William and Nora (Fraizer) Jones. They preceded him in death. Charles was also preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Ware; brothers, Jack Jones and Claude Jones; son-in-law, Gary Huston.
Charles worked for the Masonite Door Company in Pittsburg. He retired in 2004 after twenty-five years of service.
Charles and Billie Vanderford were united in marriage October 8, 1960 in Columbus. They shared 60 precious years together before his passing. She survives of the home.
Charles enjoyed fishing, coffee with friends and spending time with the grandkids. He cherished the time spent and memories created with his wife, children, grandchildren and friends. His presence will be missed, but never forgotten.
In addition to his wife, Billie, Charles is survived by a daughter, Terry Huston; sons, Gary Rae Jones and Justin Huston (Jennifer); seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Memorial services with be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at Waters Cemetery.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
