The Cherokee County Economic Development Commission recognized four local businesses for the contributions to the county and it’s growth and development. The awards included Sally Davis, Davis Real Estate, Larry Hiatt, Columbus News-Report, Jerry Derfelt, Derfelt Funeral Homes and Dr. Kayla Riggs of Riggs Chiropractic.
Local businesses were recognized for their contributions to the county by the Cherokee County Economic Development Corporation during its Annual Recognition Breakfast September 15 at the Little Brick Inn in Baxter Springs.
The Economic Development Corporation has presented recognition awards annually since 2017 to acknowledge local businesses and organizations for their contributions to the county.
