Donna Lynn Dykes, 74 of Parsons, died at 12:50 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 2021 at her home. Born in Erie, May 18, 1947 Donna was the daughter of Roy Riffel and Mary (Kennedy) Riffel. She was a graduate of Erie High School with the class of 1965.
Donna worked as a photo finisher at Dwayne’s Photo Service in Parsons for many years. She enjoyed crafting, beading, sewing, visiting flea markets with René, road tripping, canning foods, and playing “Hayday”. She had lived in Parsons for 55 years.
Donna and Philip Mark Dykes were united in marriage June 20, 1965 in Erie. He preceded her in death December 10, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mary Riffel; and one infant daughter, Rebecca Dykes.
Donna is survived by two daughters, Regina Buckley (husband, Jeff) of Galena and René Cosby (husband, Joe) of Parsons; one brother, Douglas Riffel of Parsons; one sister, Diana Stevenson of Topeka; and one granddaughter, Grace Cosby of Parsons.
