Thomas Michael “Mick” Williams, 74, died at his home in Baxter Springs, Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
Born March 2, 1947, in Joplin, Mo., Mick was the son of Thomas and June (Kibler) Williams. He graduated from Baxter Springs High School with the class of 1965. He attended Pittsburg State University. He met his future wife, Sandra Bingham when they attended seventh grade together in Baxter Springs., They were united in marriage July 7, 1968 and were blessed to be married for 53 years. Mick was a husband, father, grandfather, friend, and businessman. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, learning about history, and being outdoors. He was dedicated to his family and loved talking about his seven grandchildren to anyone that would listen. He owned and operated his own business, Williams Diversified Management, which he proudly ran with his son, Brandon and his son-in-law, Bill. Mick is survived by his wife, Sandy Williams; his
Mick is survived by his wife, Sandy Williams; his children, Brandon (Nicole) Williams, Courtney (Bill) Buck, and Carrie Williams; seven grandchildren, Mason Williams, Austin Williams, Jacob Williams, Billy Buck, Wyatt Buck, Emmalee Williams, and Weston Buck; and many cherished co-workers, golfing buddies, and lifelong friends that he considered family.
A memorial service will be held at Derfelt Chapel in Baxter Springs, Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 2 p.m.
