Stanley Eugene Goodin, 88, of Oswego, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at his home. Born January 13, 1934, in Waterloo, Iowa, Stanley was the son of Charles Goodin and Lena Smith Goodin.
Stanley and Joan McCraney were united in marriage October 23, 1976, in Elk Run, Iowa. She preceded him in death.
Stanley worked for Rath Meat Packaging for more than 35 years.
In addition to his parents and wife, Stanley was preceded in death by one daughter, Jodi Gilbert.
Stanley is survived by one son, Clay Goodin, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two daughters, Lori Pitts (companion, Mike Miller), of Oswego and Hope Billings, of Fergus Falls, Minn. Seven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren also survive.
Internment will be at a later date in Waterloo, Iowa. Stanley has been entrusted to the Derfelt Funeral Home, in Oswego for cremation..
