Anita Gail Patterson, 67, of Oswego, died at 2:40 p.m., Sunday August 22, 2021 at Labette Health, in Parsons, following an illness.
Born June 20, 1954, in Kansas City, Mo. Anita had lived in Oswego the past 19 years moving from Joplin, Mo.
In 1992, Anita became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She then became a Registered Nurse in 2004 where she worked in area nursing homes. She loved watching Netflicks and stock car races on TV and taking care of her fur babies. She was known as a mom to everybody. Anita is survived by her daughters, Amanda Gourley and Samantha Patterson, both of Oswego and Addie Lewis, of Joplin, Mo.; two brothers, William L Nash, of Basehor, and Michael Nash also from Kansas; and three grandchildren, Karley Smith, Kysen Lewis and Brina Lewis.
Anita was preceded in death by her daughter, Veronica Patterson, one son , Shawn Hagemeier and her father, James Lee Nash.
Anita was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, in Oswego, for cremation. No services are planned.
