Arthenia Jill Simmons, 66, of Oswego, died at 6 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at her home following an illness. Born August 12, 1956, in Chanute, Arthenia was the second oldest of seven children born to Howard and Violet (Bryant) Houdashelt. She had lived in Oswego since 1980, moving from Humboldt.
