Burl Leon Richardson Jr., 68 of Galena, died suddenly February 2, 2022 at his home.
Born October 18,1953 in Joplin, Mo., Burl was the son of Burl L. and Marion (Windecker) Richardson. Burl had lived in Galena most of his life. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a welder and a roofer. His favorite pastimes were riding motorcycles, watching old cowboy westerns and collecting knives.
Burl and Tammy Sue Crandall were united in marriage June 8, 2019 in Galena. She survives.
In addition to his wife, Burl is survived by one son, Daniel LaMarr (wife, Jessica), of Galena; two daughters, Stormy Anderson, of Baxter Springs and Beryl Richardson, of Galena; two brothers, Andy Richardson and Tony Richardson, both of Joplin, Mo.; one sister Susan Hayes, of Galena; and six grandchildren, Brooklynn LaMarr, Raiden LaMarr, Acelynn LaMarr, Jasper Anderson, Violet Anderson, and Jaxon Anderson.
The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
