Connie Rae Windsor, 80 of Grove, Okla., died Thursday, March 17, 2022. Born August 11, 1941, in Baxter Springs, Connie was the daughter of Grand and Esther (Strop) Bell. They preceded her in death. In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband Max and sisters Sammy Lamb and Barbara Heady.
Connie and her soulmate Max Windsor were united in marriage July 17, 1964. Together they raised two sons. Connie enjoyed taking care of others. She loved taking care of her family and taking care of her patients through her work as a registered nurse. She never met a stranger and loved talking to people. She also enjoyed traveling and reading.
Connie is survived by sons Aaron Windsor (wife Lisa) and Lance Windsor (wife Anne). Grandchildren: Kori Windsor, Cole Windsor, and Zoe Osborn also survive.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, March 24, at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Chapel in Grove, Okla. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, March 25, also at Worley Luginbuel Chapel. Interment will follow at Olympus North Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com
