Danny Dale Griffberg, 75 of Neosho, Mo. formerly of Carl Junction, Mo. died at 5:19 a.m. Sunday, December 11, 2022. Born in Carthage, Mo. January 20, 1947, Danny was the son of Pearl Griffberg. She preceded him in death. Danny was also preceded in death by his wife and a granddaughter, Karlie Dawn Asbell.
After graduation, Danny enlisted in the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany for several years. He had lived throughout the four-state area, including Carthage, Carl Junction, and Neosho, Mo. He spent many years as a truck driver and retired as a driver for Construction Debris Rolloff (CDR) of Carl Junction, Mo.
Danny and Pamela Woods were united in marriage November 30, 1968 at Joplin, Mo. She preceded him in death March 2, 2020.
Danny is survived by his son, Dustin Griffberg (wife, Michele) of Carl Junction, Mo.; daughter, Kimberly Wilson (husband, Paul) of Neosho, Mo.; five grandsons, Colten, Hunter (wife, Brielle), Kyler, Kaden and Chase; great-granddaughters, Everleigh and Zaeleigh; his brother, Larry Griffberg (wife, Gladys) of Carthage, Mo.; several nieces and nephews, and his beloved dogs, BooBoo and Abbey.
Cremation has been entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home of Galena. The family will host a memorial service Saturday, December 17 at The Table 206 N.Main Street in Carl Junction, Mo.
