David Bristol, 53, of Bartlett, died Sunday, April 9, 2023, at his home. Born January 23, 1970, in Nuernberg, Germany, David was the son of Jimmy Louis and Betty Ann (Wilkerson) Bristol. His mother preceded him in death.
Over the years, David worked at chicken processors in Arkansas and also worked as a construction contractor in Miami, Oklahoma. He enjoyed barbeque grilling and watching football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs and the Seattle Seahawks.
David is survived by his longtime companion, Sheila Pennington of the home; two children, Isaac Bristol of Seattle, Washington and Eric Bristol of Washington; his father, Jimmy Louis Bristol of Washington; and sister, Tammy Gilliland of Chetopa.
No service has been planned. Cremation is under the direction of the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Chetopa.
