Doyle Eugene Hall, 75, Parsons

Doyle Eugene Hall, 75, of Parsons, died at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Good Samaritan Society, in Parsons, following an illness. Born August 23, 1946, in Noel, Mo., Doyle was the son of Ivan and Gertrude (Allen) Hall. They preceded him in death. Doyle was also preceded in death by two brothers, Sonny Hall and Alan Hall and sister, Liliian Price.

After graduating from high school in Baxter Springs, Doyle entered the United States Army. He was stationed in Alaska as cook from 1966 to 68. He made his home in Eureka Arkansas for over 40 years. Doyle returned to Southeast Kansas about two years ago to live with his nephew, Bill Price in Chetopa.

A florist, Doyle had managed flower shops in Arkansas for several years. He was proud to say he had met Bill Clinton once while decorating a banquet room. He was an artist and enjoyed painting and drawing. He liked gardening and making arrangements from the flowers he grew.

Doyle is survived by his sister, Sharon Groseclose, of Oklahoma City, Okla. and 14 nieces and nephews.

Doyle was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home,in Galena, for cremation. The family will plan a celebration of life at a later date.
