Earlene Aaron, 83, Columbus

Earlene Aaron went home to be with the Lord on July 2, 2021. Born in Hattiesburg, Miss. in 1937, Earlene was the daughter of James and Evie Dee Crane. She was one of six children, who all preceded her in death.

Earlene was survived by two daughters Rebekah Hale of Columbus, Tobie Kuykendall of Texas and son Tim Kuykendall of Texas. Three grandchildren Sadie Hale and Zoe Hale both of Columbus and Jared Kuykendall of Texas,

Anyone that had the pleasure of meeting Earlene would not soon forget her. She was like a second mother to so many. Earlene loved to serve God and could easily be found at church cooking and feeding anybody that was there. She loved to sew and crochet and was always making something special to give to those she loved. She had a wonderful spirit and presence about her, always willing to help anyone, and a great sense of humor.

Please join her family in celebrating the life of an amazing woman, mother, and friend to many Thursday, July 15, at 10 a.m. at Camp Joy Church in Columbus. Visitation will be July 14, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Derfelt Funeral Home in Columbus. Online condolences may be expressed at www.derfeltfuneralhomes.com.
