Edna Geneva Graham Trisler 94, of Weir, died 2:29 p.m. Thursday March 3, 2022, at her home following an illness. Born February 24, 1928, in Neosho, Mo., Edna was the daughter of Wendell L. and Ida Ethel (Rainey) Graham. She was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Pittsburg schools.
Edna and Ira Raymond Trisler were united in marriage January 28, 1947 in Pittsburg. He preceded her in death June 23, 1992. In addition to her husband and parents, Edna was preceded in death by a son James Edward, sister Ida Mae, brother Bill Graham, daughters-in-law Brenda Trisler and Jean Ann Trisler and several nieces and nephews.
Edna spent most of her life as a homemaker. She attended the Salvation Army Church since childhood and loved spending time with family.
Edna is survived by her children, John (Marie) Trisler, Delores Lewis and Jenny Trisler all of Pittsburg, Ernie Trisler (Sarah) of Springfield, Mo., Nancy (Mike) Cullins of Blanchard, Okla., Robert Trisler of Tulsa, Okla., Sharon (Oscar) Stotts of Lakeland, Fla., Dennis Trisler of Nashville, Tenn,, Debra Nolen of San Antonio, Texas, Joyce (Allen) Dees of Milton, Fla., and Tammy Trisler of Lakeland, Fla. Twenty-three grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, a great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Monday March 7, at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Weir. Pastor Duane Elmore will officiate. Burial will follow at the Crocker Cemetery in Pittsburg. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1 p.m. prior to service at the funeral home.
