Gina Marie Davied, 63, of Frontenac, died February 12, 2023 at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg. Born December 16, 1959, Gina was the daughter of Herman Eugene McDaniels and Elsie Marie Hurlbut. They preceded her in death. She was a proud graduate of Frontenac High School in 1977.
Gina and Joseph Louis Davied were united in marriage December 30, 1983. Gina was a loving homemaker and devoted her life to her family. She was an avid traveler and loved taking trips to Branson with her husband. She was also a talented basketball player and starred on her high school team. Gina is survived by her beloved husband, two sons; Josh Davied (fiancé Lindsey Laderer) of Weir and Cody of Frontenac, (girlfriend Abbie Russell) of Joplin, Mo.;, brother; Kevin McDaniels of Arma; grandson Tucker Davied, mother-in-law Pauline (Pat) Davied, and several inlaws.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 15 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Friskel Funeral Home, 230 E. McKay in Frontenac.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 16 at the funeral home. Burial to follow in the Frontenac City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to help with funeral expenses. These may be left at or mailed to the funeral home. Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Friskel Funeral Home
