James William “J.W.” Napier, Jr., 73 of Wyandotte, Okla. died Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Joplin Health and Rehabilitation Center in Joplin, Mo.
Born April 12, 1948, in Columbus, J.W. was the son of the James William Napier, Sr. and Joan Anne (Mutray) Napier. They preceded him in death. In addition to his parents J.W. was also preceded in death by a brother, Philip Napier and sister-in-law, Susan Napier. J.W. grew up in Kansas and graduated from St.
J.W. grew up in Kansas and graduated from St. Mary’s-Colgan High School in Pittsburg. He worked as a truck driver for some time before starting his own company working mainly in the Grand Lake, Okla. area in lawn care in which he took great pride.
J.W. is survived by two daughters, Tina JoAnne Napier and Cynthia Smith; a sister, Marilyn Keller (husband Tony); a brother, Mike Napier; four grandchildren, Cheyanne Kepner (husband Derek), Aaron Allison (wife Karissa), Lakota Huls and Alisha Smith; great-grandchildren, Guthrie Kepner and Karlee Allison.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
