Judith Elaine “Judi” Keener, 69 of Sarcoxie, Mo., died at 8:35 a.m. Monday, March 20, 2023 from a motor vehicle accident, two miles west of Girard. Born February 27, 1954, in New Richmond, Ohio. Judith was the daughter of Jack Burrows and Carol Jean (Hill) Fisher. She had lived in several communities, including Sand Point, Idaho, Franklin, Ga. and Kayenta, Ariz. before moving to Sarcoxie three months ago.
Judi was currently attending New Horizons Seventh Day Adventist Church in Republic, Mo. While living in Arizona, she and her husband actively volunteered with many community outreach programs and taught healthy lifestyle. She enjoyed gardening.
Judi and Ricky David Keener, were united in marriage August 10, 1990 in Spokane, Wash. He survives.
In addition to her husband, Judi is survived by four daughters, Heather LeFoll (Scott), Maidstone, VT, Katrina Blankenship (Robert), North Glenn, CO, Kezzia Brendle (Ben), Nevada, MO, and Lydia Keener, of Lakewood, Colo.; a sister, Beverly Catanese, of Garden City; a stepsister, Janice Lebrun, of Richmond, New Hampshire; a nephew, Dwight Wilson, of Boonesborough, Mass.; and seven grandchildren.
Judi was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, Eugene Francis Kenaston, sister, Sharon Marie Fisher and one infant brother, Johnny Fisher.
Judi was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena for cremation.
