Mary Lynn Cupp

Mary Lynn Cupp, 66, of Crestline, died at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Freeman West Hospital, in Joplin, Missouri following an illness.

Born August 6, 1955 in Joplin, Mo., Mary was the daughter of Kenneth David and Thelma June (Bramlett) Clark. She was a lifetime resident

Mary graduated from Columbus High School with the class of 1973. She then earned a cosmetology license from Fort Scott Community College in 1974. She worked 12 years at St John’s Hospital, in Joplin, Mo. in housekeeping and medical records. She then earned a CNA license and worked at Oxford Home Care and later Quaker Hill Nursing Home in Lowell. Mary was also a Mary Kay Sales Representative.

Mary was a member of First United Methodist Church in Columbus. She enjoyed sewing, drawing and crocheting. She loved music and played the piano and guitar. Mary did not ever meet a stranger. She loved to laugh and loved her family. Mary was a devoted Christian.

Mary and Paul Vincent Cupp were united in marriage February 6, 1983 in Asbury, Mo. He survives

In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by two sons, Paul V Cupp Jr, of Crestline and Troy A Cupp (Jackie) of Loma Linda, Mo.; two daughters, Heather Rose Merritt (Joel), of Parsons and Pheobe Clark, of Loma Linda, Mo.; three brothers, Harvey Clark (Marie), of Columbus. David Clark (Marlene), of Galena, and Norman Clark (Edith), Des Moines, Iowa; three grandchildren, Ashley Yeager, Tori Merriam and Spencer Merriam and three great-grandchildren, Corbin Michel, Caynon Yeager, and Conlee Yeager.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Quinn Clark.

Mary was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, of Galena, for cremation.

The family will be planning a memorial service to be held at a later date.
