Robert McKibben, Miami, Okla.

Robert Ray “Camel” McKibben, 45, of Miami, Okla., died Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at his home.

Born January 11, 1976, in Miami, Okla., Robert was the son of Floyd Douglas and Helen Rose (Lodwick) McKibben. His father preceded him in death.

Robert had lived in the Miami, Okla. area all his life and was known by many as “Camel”. He was the meat market manager at Marvin’s in Baxter Springs for 19 years. Robert graduate from Miami, Okla. High School with the class of 1994. Camel was also involved in Miami Little Theatre.

Robert is survived by his mother, Helen Adams of Miami, Okla., five brothers, Douglas Dewayne McKibben, Victor Dean McKibben, Richie Lynn Adams, Billy Paul Adams and Kenton Howard Adams all of Miami, Okla. and a sister, Jennifer Rae Weakley of Owasso, Okla. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday evening at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel, Miami, Okla.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, Okla. Reverend Brad Jinks will officiate. Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Okla. Douglas McKibben, Victor McKibben, Richie Adams, Billy Adams, Kenton Adams, Kojak Cook, Travis Worth, Mike Brewster and James Weakley will serve as pallbearers.
