Sandra Jean Dunaway, 82, of Quapaw, Okla. died at home September 24, 2021. She was born October 27, 1938 in Galena. Sandra was the daughter of William Woodard and Jewell (Stark) Woodard.
Sandra and Lewis Dunaway, Sr. were married June 16, 1956. He preceded her in death. Also, preceding Sandra in death were her daughter, Sandra Galford and sons William Dunaway Sr, and Lewis James Dunaway, Jr.; a sister and brother.
Sandra is survived by daughters, Debbie Dunaway of Quapaw, Okla., Sheryl Sisk (husband, Terry) of Miami, Okla.; a brother, Frank Woodard (wife Peggy) of Joplin, Mo.; sisters, Norma Littlepage of Galena, Nancy St. Clair of Joplin, Mo. and Billie Albright of Quapaw, Okla. Sandra had five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren that she loved, dearly.
Sandra loved to work outside with her flowers. She was very proud of her Quapaw Indian heritage. Her wishes were to be cremated and no services have been scheduled by her family at this time.
