Stephanie Michelle Richards, 35, of Oklahoma City, Okla., died unexpectedly June 16, 2021.
Born January 11, 1986, Stephanie was the daughter of Sheila and Loyd Johnson. She grew up in Cherokee county with her two sisters. She attended Columbus Unified Highschool and later attended a local college.
Bold and quick witted, Stephanie was never one to mince words or deny a smile. She will be remembered for her stoic yet compassionate air, as well as her bright smile and uproarious laugh.
Stephanie is survived by her son Alexander Townsend; husband Ryan Richards; father Loyd Johnson; mother and stepfather Rodney and Sheila Bock; sisters Kayce Johnson and Amber Gibson; and stepbrother Sonny Bock. Thirteen nieces and nephews, as well as a host of family and friends also survive.
A memorial service for those who wish to attend will be held Saturday June 26 at the Columbus City Hall Community Room at 4 p.m. There are no burial services planned at this time. The family is requesting that in leu of flowers gifts of love be presented to the family at the time of service to aid in final expenses. A GoFundMe account has also been established by Amber to aid in expenses.
Stephanie has been entrusted to Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City, Okla. for cremation.
