Teresa G Olds, 69, of Joplin, Mo. died at 11:29 a.m. Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, Mo. following an illness.
Born December 7, 1951 in Tahlequah, Okla., Teresa was the daughter of Delbert and Wilma Hope (Williams) Wolf. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dusty Miller.
She had lived in Joplin since the late 1970’s moving from Miami, Okla. where she had lived since she was six years old.
An LPN, Teresa had worked at several area nursing homes. She enjoyed camping, fishing and horseback riding.
Teresa and Lewis L. Olds were united in marriage in 1984 at Miami, Okla. He survives.
In addition to her husband, Teresa is survived by one son, Bryant Beehler, of Joplin, Mo.; two stepsons Richard Olds and Shane Olds (Hannelie) both of Joplin, Mo. Two granddaughters, Sadie Miller, of Baxter Springs and Alex Vineyard (Elijah), of Joplin, Mo.; one step grandson, Cash Olds, of Joplin, Mo.; and one great grandson, Carson Vineyard also survive.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, July 16, at Derfelt Funeral Home, in Galena.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 17, at Derfelt Funeral Home, in Galena. Pastor Steven Daugherty will officiate. Burial will be in Osborne Memorial Cemetery in Joplin, Mo.
