Tracy Dawn Blankenship, 51, of Kimberling City, Mo. died August 19, 2021, at 1:32 a.m. Born June 18, 1970, Webb City, Mo. Tracy was the daughter of Jerry and Ruth (Coble) Hagemen. She married Bill Blankenship July 10, 2004. They made their home in Kimberling City, Mo. He survives.
In addition to her husband Bill, Tracy is survived by her parents, Jerry and Ruth Hageman of Galena, Mo.; mother-in-law Paulette Blankenship of Bolivar, Mo.; sister JeRaye (husband Wes Haynes) of Allen, Texas; brothers, Mark Hageman (wife Wendy) of Shawnee, Brandt Hageman of Olathe and Troy Brooks of Oregon. Tracy is also survived by five nephews, Lucas Hageman of Olathe, Adam Hageman and Cole Hageman both of Shawnee, Dr. Shawn Haynes (wife Dr. Alyssa Haynes) of Miami, Fla. and Jarod Haynes of Allen, Texas; two nieces, Lydia Hageman of Shawnee and Miranda Blakley (Garrett Blakley) of Murphy Texas; along with great nephews, Wesley Blakley, Kayson Haynes, Tatum Blakley, Raelynn Blakley, and Emberly Haynes.
Tracy and Bill never had any children of their own, but they loved children and entertained their nieces and nephews at the lake many times. They substituted “fur babies” for children. Tracy leaves behind in Bill’s care their three puppies and three kitties, Izzy, Roxie, Snickers, Thor, Pepper and Lucky, who already miss her deeply.
Memorial services were held Monday, August 23. Pastor Rob Barringer officiated. Burial followed at Yocum Pond Cemetery in Reeds Spring, Mo..
