Kathryn Irena Madison, 69, of Pittsburg, died at 11:49 a.m. Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Cox Medical Center in Lamar, Mo. due to a sudden illness. Born January 26, 1954, in Pittsburg, Kathy was the daughter of Norman and Barbara Geier. They preceded her in death.

Danetta Jean Harper, 76, of Galena, died Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Legacy Living, in Baxter Springs. Born January 27, 1947 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Danetta was the daughter of Dan P. Wheeler and Imogene (Bailey) Wheeler. Her family ultimately moved to Kansas and she attended school in Riverton.
