Juanita Ann Williams 73, of Riverton, died Monday, January 9, 2023, at her home surrounded by family. Born August 20, 1949 in Watsonville, Calif., Juanita was the daughter of Dale and Georgianna (Atkison) Myers. They preceded her in death.

Dale Norris, 58, Columbus

Dale Norris, 58, of Columbus, died Friday, January 6, 2023 at his home. Born December 2, 1964, in Columbus, Dale was the son of Jim “Buck” and Ginger (Brassart) Norris in Columbus. They preceded him in death. Dale was also preceded in death by a brother Mike Norris.

Daniel Qualls, 81, Galena

Daniel Michael Qualls, 81 of Galena, died at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Freeman West Hospital of Joplin, Mo. Born August 2, 1941 Daniel was the son of Leonard M. and Grace L. (Howell) Qualls. He attended Galena Schools. He later enlisted in the United States Army.

Colleen Cresap, West Mineral

Colleen May Cresap, 83, of West Mineral, died Monday, January 9, 2023 at her home. Born March 18, 1939 in Columbus, Colleen was the daughter of Orbin John Delmont and Edith May (Picher) Delmont. They preceded her in death.

Quentin Andrews, 33, Columbus

Quentin R Andrews, 33, died Saturday, December 31, 2022. He was born November 21, 1989 in Springfield, Mo. He was a lifetime resident of Columbus. Quentin was active in Boy Scouts. He received an Eagle Scouts award. He attended school in Columbus.

Judy Defonso, 82, Oswego

Judy Frances Defonso, 82 of Oswego, died December 31, 2022. Born June 1, 1940, in Onaga, Judy was the daughter of Francis John Brunkow and Frances Friberger Brunkow. Judy and her sister Janice were raised by her grandparents in rural Onaga on a farmstead, as Judy lost her parents at a young age.

Curtis Dickerson, 83, Oswego

Curtis E. “Gene” Dickerson, 83, of Oswego, died Friday, December 30, 2022, at Labette Health, Parsons following a short illness. Born April 15, 1939, at Neelys Landing, Mo., where he grew up and started working on his uncle’s farm, Curtis was the son of Lawrence and Beulah (Clingingsmith) Dickerson.

Nancy Ann Peace, 80 of Carona, died December 31, 2022 at her home following a long illness. Born May 9, 1942 in Carona, Nancy was the daughter of Claude T. and Genevieve (Petermalo) Smith. Nancy and Billy Field Peace were united in marriage May 16, 1985 at Miami, Okla.

Darlene Bricker, 68, Pittsburg

Darlene Sue (Bagby) Bricker, 68 of the Pittsburg/ Frontenac area died December 29, 2022, from dementia/ Alzheimer’s. Born September 21, 1953 in Kansas City, Mo., Darlene was the daughter of Francis and Elsie (Osbourn) Bagby. Darlene graduated from Pittsburg High School with some college.
