Rickey Allen “Rick” Nash, 68, of Chetopa, died Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Integris Hospital in Miami, Oklahoma, with his family by his side. Born October 22, 1954, in Faulkner, Rick was the son of Donald Dewane and Wilma June (Stapleton) Nash. He grew up to become the Rock of his family.

Shirley A. Bryant, 87, of Wichita, died peacefully in her home Thursday, October 27, 2022. Born July 18, 1935, in Galena, Shirley was the daughter of Paul and Flossie (Morey) Duley. She married Donald E. Bryant July 3, 1952 in Huntsville, Ark. They preceded her in death.

Michael Richard Mayerske, 80, of Overland Park, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family Friday October 28, 2022. He was born September 24,1942 in Uniontown, Penn. the son of Anthony and Catherine (Sirilla) Mayerske. They preceded him in death.

Norvella June Boccia (Melton), 87, of West Mineral, died November 2, 2022 after a prolonged struggle with dementia. Born in Weir, Norvella, the oldest of five children was the daughter of Everett and Alice Melton. They preceded her in death.

Darlene Call, 78, Miami, Okla.

Darlene Kay Call, 78, of Miami, Okla., died Sunday, October 30, 2022 at her home. Born May 2, 1944 in Chetopa, Darlene was the daughter of Lee and Mildred (Stickley) Warner. They preceded her in death. Darlene was also preceded in death by her brother, Verle Warner and sister, Anna Mae Nutt.

Roberta “Bobbie” Jean Wood, 84, of Baxter Springs died at her home October 30, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. Born February 25, 1938 in Joplin, Mo., Bobbie was the daughter of Gerald Livingston and Roberta (Sigars) Livingston.

Carmeta (Woodard) Mills, 85, of Queens Village New York, died peacefully Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Queen of Peace Residence in Queens Village, NY. She had been cared for by the Little Sisters of the Poor at the Jeanne Jugan Residence and Queen of Peace for the past several years.

Cathy Lynn (Coble) Gurnee, age 62, of Columbus died at 2:56 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2022 in St. Louis Missouri following a stay in Freeman West Hospital, in Joplin Mo. before being transferred to St Louis. Her death was unexpected.
