Bonnie Louise (Darlington) Brandt, 75, of Oswego, died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Labette Health of Parsons following complications from Covid. Born May 4, 1946 in Fort Scott, Bonnie was the daughter of Paul F. Darlington and Thelma L. (Wilson) Darlington.

Gary L. Martin, 80, of Columbus, died Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Kansas University Medical Center, in Kansas City with all of his family beside him. Born January 7, 1941 in Columbus, Gary was the son of Leonard and Juanita (Meeds) Martin. They preceded him in death.

Alva W Bellamy 85, of Galena, died at 3:20 a.m., Monday, July 26, 2021 at his home following an illness. Born August 27, 1935 in Goodman, Mo., Alva was the son of Conley Carl and Theresa Bernice (Johnson) Bellamy. He had lived in Galena since 1955, moving from the Goodman area.

Sheri Lynn Cowley Werling, of Branson, Mo., died peacefully July 24, 2021. Born January 21, 1954, Sheri was the daughter of Stan and Mary Belle Cowley. She was raised in Columbus. Her parents preceded her in death. A twirler at Riverton High School, Sheri graduated with the class of 1972.

Theodore Lane III 20, Galena

Theodore Gene Lane III, 20, of Galena, died Thursday, July 22, 2021 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. “Tee” as he was affectionately known was born October 16, 2000 in Joplin, Mo. His parents were Theodore Gene Lane Jr. and Juanita Kathleen Cottrell.
