Ray Dean Bicknell, 82, of Arma, died suddenly Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at his home. Born June 29, 1938 in Joplin, Mo., Ray was the son of Orville Leroy and Ellen (Grazier) Bicknell. Ray graduated from Riverton high School with the class of 1956.

Jimmy Joe Lewis, Sr. 51 of Stella, Mo., died Thursday, April 8, 2021 at his residence. Born March 16, 1970 in Joplin, Mo. Jimmy was the son of Jerry Lewis and Brenda (Lawrence) Lewis. Jimmy worked most of his life at Able Body Corporation as a fiberglass technician.

Dorothy Ann Kapler, 85 of Olathe, died April 9, 2021 at Menorah Hospital in Overland Park. Born September 15, 1935 in Pittsburg, Dorothy was the daughter of John and Dorothy (Manderino) Fortino. Dorothy and William Charles “Bill” Kapler were united in marriage September 3, 1955 in Scammon.

Holland Ellis, 67, Galena

Holland R. Ellis, 67 of rural Galena, died Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Mo. Born December 21, 1953, Holland was the son of Holland F. Ellis and E. Gleneda (Hodgel) Ellis. They preceded him in death. Holland graduate from Riverton High School with the class of 1971.

Doris Ilene (Hughes) Simpson, 91, of Galena, died April 5, 2021 at Quaker Hill Manor in Lowell . Born November 22, 1929,Doris was the daughter of James and Edna Hughes. She married Harry Simpson April 8, 1950. He preceded her in death.
