The Lady Lions came back to beat the Lady Titans 44-35 in the opening round of the 29th Annual Lancer Classic after losing to Columbus, 44-33, on the Friday before in Columbus.
In second round action, the Lady Lions faced number one seed, Erie. The Lady Red Devils ended the opening quarter up 6-2, with Baxter Springs getting a free throw each from juniors, Brooklyn Giesel and Abigail Burgraff.
