In their first softball game of the season, the Baxter Springs Lady Lions started deep in the hole against their hosts, the Sarcoxie, Mo. Lady Bears. Baxter Springs had eight strikeouts with the first eleven batters but came storming back for an 11-5 win. The Lady Lions won the nightcap, 19-2, to complete the sweep.
