Lady Titan Junior, Lily Mooney, (left) made three, three-pointers in the fourth quarter but Parsons got the win, 62-52, in second round action of the Lancer Classic in Cherokee. Lady Titan Freshman, Ava Harman (above) drives around Parsons Freshman, Aashka Patal in the final minutes of the Lancer Classic contest, Wednesday, at Southeast High School.
The Lady Vikings of Parsons could feel their first win coming after a long drought. They took advantage of a dismal first half by the Lady Titans and held on for the win, 62-52, despite a valiant attempt by Columbus in the final two quarters.
The Parsons squad seemed to effortlessly make shots from behind the threepoint arc as Columbus worked for every field goal and free throw they could muster.
