This year nearly 250,000 patients will be diagnosed with lung cancer and 130,000 will die from it. In SD, 660 people will be diagnosed and over 400 will die from the disease. Lung cancer accounts for the most cancer deaths in both the US and in SD.

Watching some of the FIFA World Cup Competition in Qatar this past week brought back some old memories. In 2006 my husband and I made a trip to Slovenia with his cousins to visit the homeland of their grandparents. We flew into Munchen (Munich) Germany and traveled to other countries from there.

The Columbus Public Library will be open to the public, with a five person limit. Mondays 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesdays 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday 9 a.m-6 p.m. Thursdays 9 a.m.-6 a.m. Fridays 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. Saturdays 10 a.m.-noon. Curbside service will be available upon request.
