Still time to sign up Little Mr., Miss

Time is running out to register your child or grandchild for the Little Mr. and Miss Columbus contest for 2021. Boys and girls must be between the ages of three and five years of age, in the Columbus USD 493 district. The children chosen to be the 2021 Little Mr.

Back-to-school parade set at Southeast Elementary

Southeast Elementary to Have Back-to-School “Parade” A back to school parade will be held at Southeast Elementary School in Weir August 17. Staff will line up along the drive of the school 6:15 p.m. to 7 p.m. The community is invited to drive by to show support.

Benefit dinner planned for Johnsons

A benefit dinner to assist Jack and Carla Johnson is planned for Friday August 27 at the Columbus 4-H Building. The dinner will include a pulled pork sandwich, chips, bottled water and dessert for a donation. This will be drive by and delivery only from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the 4-H Building.
