BCC graduates named for fall 2022 semester

Barton Community College has announced its list of graduates who earned associate degrees or certificates for career training during the fall semester of 2022. Albert Welch, of Columbus received an Associate of Applied Science degree .and OSHA Safety and Health Certificate.

A Quilt of Valor was presented to Gordon Cox of Columbus as recognition and thanks for his Navy service. Cox served 1962-1991 in various duty stations around the world, as a pilot.

Columbus native Dr. Mark McNemar, president of Mercy Clinics cut the ribbon on a new facility in January. Mercy opened the health system’s first 65 Prime+ clinic, located at 2216 E. 32nd St., Suite 102, in Joplin. 65 Prime+ is a clinic geared toward Medicare patients, those 65 and older.

KState University team to visit Crawford County
