CUHS seeks information for Veteran’s program

Columbus Unified High School will be honoring our veterans. There will be a breakfast held at 8:15 a.m. in the Columbus Unified High School cafeteria Friday, November 11, for all veterans, current servicemen and a guest.

Blood drive planned Monday

Football fans are being asked to “Get in the Game for Life” to score some Chiefs swag by donating blood at the upcoming blood drive in Columbus Monday, October 17, 1 p.m.-5 p.m. at the Columbus Community Building located at 320 E. Maple.

Charles Meyer took the top in the, Restored to Original Class, with his 1930 Pontiac, Steve Goodman of Carthage, Mo., was second with is 1970 Plymouth Duster and David Hudson of Quapaw, Okla., was the third-place winner with his 1970 Chevy Nova. There were 73 entries in the car show.
