I would like to start off speaking on behalf of the Class of 2023 by saying thank you. Thank you to the teachers who gave us help when it was necessary, but also to the teachers who came into town at 8:30 at night to give us their opinion on how our float needed to be built.

The Columbus Day committee spends a whole year putting the festival together and inquiries about vendor space start coming in by February. The committee is accepting 2023 vendor space applications. Several food and craft vendors have already registered.

March winds didn’t bring much rain

March winds plus April showers equals May flowers. This is what I have been told. We had March winds. In April we had 2.4 inches of rain. We don’t expect too many flowers in May. Right now, the flowerbed is growing weeds. Hopefully, we will have something colorful by the end of May.
