Park Pre-K students color Eddie Eagle, Rooster Booster

In January, the elementary schools had a Character Education and talked about Eddie Eagle on gun safety, Rooster Booster on car seats and seatbelts, ALICE training on active shooter. The students had a coloring contest for Eddie Eagle, and Rooster Booster.

Columbus student receives agriculture experience grant

A $1,000 Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) grant has been awarded to John Moyer of Columbus by General Mills. SAE grants are designed to help Future Farmers of America members create or expand projects, a requirement that all FFA members must complete.

Homecoming at Riverton High School will be Friday, January 27. A chili supper will kick of the festivities at 5 p.m. Coronation of the Homecoming Queen will take place between the varsity girls game (6 p.m. start) and the varsity boys game (7:30 p.m. start).
