Several Titan Athletes placed to score but in team standings, the boys were eighth with 34 team points and the girls were seventh with 23 points in their respective divisions.

The Missourians gospel singing group will be in concert at the First Baptist Church of Crestline Sunday evening, April 21 at 6 p.m. The group has dedicated themselves to excellence in the presentation of the gospel in song.

Ceramics collectors know Newcomb College for its famous pottery. From 1895 to the 1940s, students at the college, which was, at the time, Tulane University’s coordinate women’s college, decorated the ceramics that Newcomb Pottery sold.

Art students at Southeast High School recently attended the Three River’s League Art Fair. The event was held April 3 at Jayhawk-Linn.

The honeybees were flying at P.E.O. Chapter BT’s April 1 meeting. Members met at 12:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall of the United Methodist Church in Baxter Springs. The hostesses were Clara Wassom and Judy Brewster. Tables were decorated with a honeybee theme. Members were served chocolate cake decorated with honeybee marshmallows and ice cream sundaes.
