The Lion of the Month award for March was presented to Columbus Unified High School senior Luke Gray at a recent Columbus Lions Club meeting. In addition to being a member of the LEO Club, Gray has been active in a number sports including golf, football and basketball.

Life Christian School continued to dominate the Midstates Christian League Academic Competiton last Friday with a 65-45 victory over Bethel Christian of Ottawa in the League’s Junior Division (age12 and younger), hosted by the locals. It was the 16th consecutive win for LCS dating back to 2009 and the 34th in the 37-year history of the academic meet.
