A special award was presented to members of the Mercy Auxiliary at the May 19 meeting.Debbie Bayless, District 2 Coordinator and her husband Tom, attended the meeting to present the club with The Hospital Volunteers of Kansas Certificate as a Member in Good Standing Award.

Genealogy CornerMonmouth Cemetery, one of the oldest burial sites in Crawford County, is located in Osage Township in the southwestern part of the county. It was used as a burial site before Crawford County was incorporated.

Andrews on Dean’s List

MidAmerica Nazarene University announced its President’s List, Dean’s List and Honor Roll for the spring 2026 semester. A total of 447 students qualified for one of the honors. Makenna Andrews from Columbus has been named to the Dean’s List.

Facts about Polish traditions
