25 Years Ago April 18 - 24, 1996 A new concrete covering was poured on top of tennis courts at Reeves Memorial Park on the east side of Columbus. The work was being done by Four-State Concrete and Steel operated by Bob Roark.

25 Years Ago April 11 - 17, 1996 Columbus High School girls varsity team swept both games at Chanute. Korey Green pitched both games. Amber Gatewood had three hits including a homerun and a double. Steffanie Boyes added a triple and double. Korey Green had a double for the other base hit.
