BSFD Auxiliary to host night swim at Baxter pool
News Staff
A night swim hosted by the Baxter Springs Fire Department Auxiliary will be held Thursday, July 1 at the Baxter Springs City pool from 7 p.m.-10 p.m.
The price of entrance will be a donation. The Baxter Springs fire truck is scheduled to be there.
All proceeds will be used to support BSFD.

Panther boy, ghosts, and adventure, who would want more from a book? I read How I Became a Ghost by Tim Tingle, and I got hooked like a fish on the Native American culture.
In this book, Isaac, the protagonist, has to walk the Trail of Tears because of soldiers that burned his village down.

Kids at the Baxter Springs City Pool were able to cool off for just $1 on Saturday with the Baxter Springs Kiwanis Club picking up the rest of the admission.
The club plans to host additional pool parties such as the one Saturday cooling off a very hot day.
