There is always something fun going on at the Columbus Public Library. Recently, a Kid’s Create event was held where youngsters could make “pinch pots”. Those attending included Wilder Roth, Ryker Saporito and Layni Saporito. A second session is planned where the youngsters can paint their creations.

Labette Community College (LCC) announces the retirement of Carl Hoskins from the LCC Board of Trustees following 12 years of dedicated service to the college and its communities.

Members of the Baxter Springs High School Homecoming court have been annoounced. They include junior attendants Jonathan Moore and Layla Weaver,Senior King and Queen candidates Jarrett Lawson and Olivia Comer, Xavier Lee and Payton Wheeler, Chason Sikes and Mazie Merriman, James Wood and Allie Judd.
