Though recent temps remind us that the summer season is far from over, the Columbus City Pool has closed for the year coinciding with the start of the school year.
City Clerk Ruth Hutley gave a report to the Columbus City Council at their regular meeting Monday evening.
This year the pool averaged 72 patrons daily, hosted 27 private parties, issued 61 season passes and employed 17 lifeguards.
